the great firewall of China has blocked so so so many sites… including facebook, twitter, tumblr, youtube… I DIED.
i am using some kind of proxy server… an internet filter shield. it only seems to work sometimes though, so not sure when i’ll be able to come back on tumblr.
plus the internet itself is kind of sucky and slow.
China’s kind of cool.. lots of pollution haha.. thick blanket of smog… but it’s not too cold yet, must be only the start of winter.
stuff is so cheap… ! One Australian dollar is 6.1RMB (the currency here). It’s so awesome dividing all the prices by 6 and realising your meal only cost AU$2.
the food varies… it’s not all amazing. i had some awesome dumplings but a few mediocre things too.
i need to take more photos.
classes start tomorrow. help!
